A New Roofline
This renovation included the addition of extra living space, a new roofline, and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing views of the Catalina mountains. As an end-unit townhome, the addition expanded the living room into a previously unused corner of the back yard.
Height and Width
The living room expanded in both height and width, optimizing the space and allowing for the wall of windows to wrap around the corner.
Expanding on Original Features
The triangular window marks the original exterior wall of the townhome. The addition added the east-facing window to capitalize on the new roofline and allow morning sun to warm the area. In the rear of the photo, the original atrium can be seen.
